ShiftClaim
ATO logbook · GST & BAS · built for Australian drivers

Your kilometres, turned into a defensible tax record.

ShiftClaim records your drives — rideshare, delivery or courier — classifies business vs personal automatically, and produces the ATO 12-week logbook, GST & BAS figures and EV charging records your accountant asks for. Everything is stored on your device; nothing is uploaded to us.

Requires an Australian business (ABN) and GST registration to claim GST credits. Estimates are record-keeping tools, not tax advice.

● Manual & auto shift tracking

Start a manual shift with one tap — full GPS accuracy, never auto-stops — or opt in to battery-light auto-detection via beacon, motion or saved places.

✓ Automatic classification

Trips between pickups are business. Home commutes stay private. A receipt-printed GST is apportioned correctly by your logbook — the engine enforces the ATO rules so you don't have to remember them.

▲ GST & BAS, live

A running quarterly BAS position — G1, 1A, 1B and net GST — with a downloadable XLSX report, vehicle-purchase credits capped correctly at the car limit, and odometer continuity at every shift boundary.

ATO 12-week logbook

A live gauge tracks your continuous logbook period week by week, computes your business-use percentage to four decimal places, and stays valid for five years once the 12 weeks are complete.

EV charging done right

Public charging claims GST ÷ 11 from the invoice; home charging follows the ATO's Practical Compliance Guideline 2024/2 cents-per-km rate (4.2¢), GST-excluded — with home-vs-public analytics per network.

Odometer continuity

Every shift ends with an odometer prompt; the next shift starts where the last ended. Distances prefer the odometer reading — authoritative for audit — and roll the vehicle's meter forward automatically.

Private by architecture

No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs. Records live in your device's storage and optionally your own iCloud. Receipts are read on-device by Apple's Vision framework.
